We have had the privilege of working with M/s. Indfurr Super Heat Furnaces since the 1980s, when they first partnered with our Microwave Laboratory. Their 1200 °C muffle furnaces, equipped with single-stage controllers, were a cornerstone of our early thermal experiments. The late Mr. Sundararaman’s regular visits and hands-on support ensured seamless operation and built a foundation of trust that continues to this day.
Over the decades, our lab has expanded to include muffle furnaces reaching 1200 °C, 1400 °C, and 1700 °C, along with several tubular furnaces—all proudly supplied by Indfurr. What sets them apart is their willingness to customize solutions, even for niche applications. A standout example is the mini furnace they designed specifically for our dielectric measurements, capable of reaching 700 °C.
Their commitment went beyond equipment. During our project on high-temperature microwave absorbers, Indfurr took the initiative to coordinate with officials from M/s. Carborundum Universal to help fabricate a bespoke absorbing structure—an effort that significantly advanced our research.
Even today, a simple phone call brings their service personnel to our lab, ready to address any need with promptness and care. Their unwavering support over the past 40 years has been invaluable, and we look forward to continuing this enduring partnership for many more years.
We extend our heartfelt wishes to M/s. Indfurr for continued success in all their future endeavours.
